DarkDox usually does not do Obits but this one gets a shout out because Dolly Parton’s clip where she warns a fellow co-worker in the film 9 to 5 that she has been “forgiving and forgetting up until now” but she has a gun in her purse to turn a sexual predator from “a rooster to a hen”. Always loved that line so we added it to Sacred Owls music video for “Good Gal With A Gun”.
Fun fact, the reason we used this clip for the music video instead of the clip from DeathProof “I don’t know what futuristic utopia you live in, but in the world I live… a bitch need a gun” was due to the singer of the song not liking the idea of women calling themselves bitches.
Nevertheless, Dolly made her way into the DarkDoxverse for being a good gal with a gun!
